Q: How has EPIC assisted you with your mental health journey?Ī: Really good support, EPIC just steps up and offers the support without having to ask. EPIC is what you want to be, and it encapsulates the experience of the good and bad. It was the name that originally caught my attention. Q: What does mental health mean to you?Ī: It’s a state of resilience that means “you’re up for the challenge”. Imagine the worst breakup you have been through and repeat it over and over. ![]() It has made me more empathetic and compassionate and aware of fragility. “Your mental health is safe with EPIC” – Darian Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your mental health journey?Ī: My mental health issues were brought about through trauma. We have already shared a range of different stories and experiences. Mental health isn’t something you should be ashamed of and there is no one right way to access support. In recognition of Mental Health Month, EPIC has released a mental health blog series highlighting the stories of members in our EPIC community who have a lived experience of mental illness.īy reading these different stories about various mental health journeys we hope to demonstrate that mental health can affect anyone at any stage of life.
